General information: the nearby beaches
With a coastline of 147 km, the Island Elba counts more than 100 beaches, all with different characteristics and beauty. Some of them - which are situated in the neighborhood of our hotel - are presented here:
| (1) Beach of Lido: 3 km away from Porto Azzurro. A sandbeach with a lengh of 400 m, where you can find all the wished beachservice, like renting of sunchairs & shades, bar, Cafè, parking places, windsurf or just the pure sand. |  |
| (2) Beach of Felciaio: the distance to our hotel is about 3,5 km; a sandy beach with a lengh of 110 m, situated on the side of the Lido beach; a beautiful beach with a little natural port; only few visitors. Parking places. |  |
| (3) Beach of Naregno: the distance to our hotel is about 3 km; 500 m of mostly sandy beach. The services you find are: a restaurant, a bar, parking and numerous watersports. |  |
| (4) Beach of Calanova: the distance to our hotel is about 8 km. A pebble beach with the lenght of 200 m. To reach the beach you have to walk a little, after parking the car. Not a big attendance of visitors. Reatsurant-Bar of quality. |  |
| (5) Beach of Liscoli: 8 km away from our hotel; little sandy beach with a lenght of 80 m - belonging to the beach of Calanova with a little beautiful pinewood in the background. Without any beach-service. |  |
| (6) Beach of Zuccale: this sandy beach of 200 m lenght is situated on the side of the beach of Barabarca. Without beach-service, but you have the chance to have this beach for yourself - very few people come here, at least in low season. Parking place. |  |
| (7) Beach of Barabarca: the distance to our hotel is about 6 km; one 150 m long sand & stone beach. The same characteristics as the beach of Zuccale. |  |
| (8) Beach of Acquarilli: sand & pebble beach, which is about 6 km away from our hotel. It has a lenght of 120 m; this beach is not really easy to reach, but also during high season you will not find many people here. No beach-service, but one little bar for refreshments. |  |
| (9) Beach of Lacona: 8 km away. Lacona is the biggest of Elba's sandy beaches with a lenght of 1.160 m. Here you can find all the wished beach-service including parking places. |  |
| (10) Beach of Barbarossa: a beautiful bay of 160 m, situated 2 km away from our otel. Pebble beach. Here you find two beach bars, a diving-school, windsurf rental and boot service for the tourists. Small parking. |  |
| (11) Beach of Reale: 4 km away. Reale is a sandy beach with a lenght of 110 m. Here you can find one reastarant-bar, renting of windsurf and boots and a little parking. This beach is the starting-point to visit the famous "Laghetto di Terranera" - a lake with sulphur-water and a mineral zone close by where you can find your own interesting minerals. |  |
